FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves measuring oxygen consumption in patient organism, carrying out cardiac and large blood vessels catheterization, taking blood for making gas analysis from single ventricle from the right atrium or from vena cava. Blood saturation with oxygen in pulmonary veins is taken for 97%, pressure in pulmonary artery trunk is considered to be equal to age-specific standard value. Pulmonary blood circulation minute volume MCPBC= MCGBCxAVDO2 GBC/AVDO2 PBC, where MCGBC is the greater circulation minute volume, AVDO2 PBC is the arteriovenous difference on oxygen in pulmonary blood circulation and AVDO2 GBC is the arteriovenous difference on oxygen in greater circulation. General peripheral pulmonary circulation resistance (GRPBC) is calculated from MCPBC value and age-specific standard values in pulmonary artery trunk. The GRPBC value is also calculated from ratio of AVDO2 GBC/AVDO2 PBC as GRPBC = 444.92(AVDO2 GBC/AVDO2 PBC)-0.4152, where 444.92 and -0.4152 are coefficients.
EFFECT: high accuracy in estimating planned operation risk.
