FIELD: medicine, cardiosurgery.
SUBSTANCE: in the course of cardiosurgical operation one should measure myocardial circulation in different points of myocardial surface, oxygen content and that of hemoglobin in arterial and venous blood out cardiac coronary sinus both before and after the main stage of operation conducted. One should calculate oxygen consumption for the whole heart or for 100 g its weight, or for separate cardiac chambers. By altered value of oxygen consumption it is possible to evaluate the efficiency of correction at removing valvular stenosis or narrowing outlet department, at reconstructive measures at main vessels and prosthetics of cardiac valves. The present method enables to evaluate efficiency of operation right in the course of its implementation.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of evaluation.
