FIELD: geophysics, possible use for prospecting mineral resources.
SUBSTANCE: seismic-prospecting complex has land vehicle or watercraft, within which on a stock source is positioned, consisting of mine thrower, plunger, guiding pipe. Prior to operation source with pallet through hatch in bottom of vehicle interior is lowered onto soil by impact plat. During shot of mine thrower plunger jumps upwardly, and due to impact interaction of plate with soil (or hydraulic impact against liquid) seismic signal is generated.
EFFECT: expanded functional capabilities.
