SUBSTANCE: device has a mortar 1 with a central channel 8, a plunger 2 with a full-bore tailpiece 7, a cap 3 with a cut on the end surface, a tray 4 with a base plate 5, a guide gas-removing cover 6, an inclined channel 10 for lateral inlet of powder charge into the chamber of the mortar with a revolving cylindrical tap 11, a hole 12 in the wall of the chamber used to accommodate a sensor for measuring pressure of powder gases in the chamber during firing and for adjusting the relative position of electrodes of two electrode assemblies during maintenance, mechanisms for raising and lowering the mortar with a plunger and a base plate, mechanisms for mounting the source in a vehicle. All operation processes of the source are carried out automatically with remote control.
EFFECT: high functional capabilities of the device by enabling control of impact properties of the seismic vibrator.
