FIELD: electrical engineering; high-voltage disconnecting switches whose poles have their conducting systems with semi-blades fixed to top ends of their rotary insulators and contact leads hinged thereon.

SUBSTANCE: proposed double-column side-break horizontal disconnecting switch, including that provided with ground blades 29, has current-carrying system 10 for each pole incorporating semi-blades 4 and 5 with their contact connections 23, 24 and operating ones 7 secured on their respective rotary insulators 2; the latter are installed on disconnecting-switch base 3; contact leads of disconnecting switch come in contact with male and female semi-blades 4, 5, respectively, through articulated joint;; they have shaped thin-wall contact members 18, 19, 16 rigidly fixed on respective rotary insulators 2 by means of identical operating carriers 7. The latter have axial vertical pins 8 with respective bearings 9 and carrier supports 11 with bearing operating brackets 12 protruding toward break contact 23, 24 of disconnecting-switch pole; connected to them are ferromagnetic operating plates 13 fitted through radial bearings 9 onto axial vertical pins 8; adjustable-length side taut struts 15 of carriers 7 and semi-blades 4, 5 are connected to these plates. Male semi-blade 4 is hollow spade-section structure. Female semi-blade 5 is built of two spring-loaded current-carrying parts operating in parallel. Contact joint is formed by connecting effective contacting surfaces of spade-section end part of male semi-blade 4, as well as by bottom and top current-carrying parts 19 and 18, respectively, of female semi-blade 5. Top and bottom current-carrying parts 18 and 19, respectively, of female semi-blade are bent out on their respective ends to form guide catcher for male semi-blade 4.
