SUBSTANCE: disconnecting switch has one or more poles whose current-carrying systems provided with contact leads incorporate fixed contact blades placed inside hollow rotary insulators mounted on base shaft and fixed contacts as well as ground blades mounted on top and bottom support insulators. Movable contact blades are made in the form of thin-walled segments of circle with side walls. Side walls of segments arranged in parallel with axial plane of disconnecting-switch pole have flat effective contact surfaces. Fixed contacts are made in the form of thin-walled angle pieces with one of their sides arranged in parallel with each other in a spaced relation between them and symmetrically relative to axial plane of pole to form flat effective breakable surfaces on external side of flanges.
