SUBSTANCE: proposed semiconductor device that can be used as electrical energy converter with insulating barrier between control leads and regulated voltage connecting leads has case 1, external control leads 2, 3, 4, active current limiter 5 built around analog-to-pulse converter, leads 6, 7, coupling member 8, leads 9, 10, control signal waveform converter 11, buses 12, 13, 14, semiconductor switch 15, and output leads 16 17 for regulated voltage connection. Active current limiter 5 built around analog-to-pulse converter functions to organize optimal conversion of input voltage on side of leads 2, 4 into pulse signal to excite coupling member 8 and to ensure minimal current input on side of leads 2, 4.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability and enlarged functional capabilities of device.
