FIELD: method for increasing nutritive value and biological activity of products, in particular, sea organism based products.
SUBSTANCE: method involves placing raw material into reservoir containing nutritive medium; adding inorganic selenate and holding, with sea organisms being used as raw material and sea water being used as nutritive medium; providing daily introduction of inorganic selenate at the rate of selenium concentration in nutritive medium of 0.3-0.8 mg/l. Sea organisms are held in nutrient medium for 6-10 days at constant aeration rate.
EFFECT: wider range of selenium enriched products having readily assimilable form and possessing biological activity, in particular, anti-oxidant effect.
