FIELD: biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method of producing raw material from Arthrospira platensis, enriched with microelements in an organic form, including cultivation of algae, introduction of a paste-like consistency of a concentrated salt solution into the microalgae culture and maintenance for 2 hours in dark conditions with periodic stirring every 30 minutes, and then the enriched biomass is washed with two volumes of water and dried at temperature of 50 °C for 8 hours to obtain a dry mass of Arthrospira platensis, wherein Arthrospira platensis is enriched with one trace element from the group: zinc, selenium, manganese, copper, chromium, adding to the culture, thickened to paste state, a weighed portion of salt at the rate of mg⋅g-1 of paste dissolved in 1 ml of water in specified amount.

EFFECT: invention enables to obtain raw material for a biologically active food additive from cyanobacterium Arthrospira platensis with introduction of microelements into the nutrient medium during cultivation in concentrations corresponding to recommended and maximum permissible daily human consumption.
