FIELD: mechanical engineering, in particular, equipment for vacuum cleaner.
SUBSTANCE: brush unit for vacuum cleaner has upper housing and lower housing, connector fixed in upper housing or in lower housing and adapted for directing of air in upper and lower housings to suction force generator of vacuum cleaner, retaining unit adapted for rotating cooperation with connector for disconnecting and tightly connecting of upper and lower housings, annular rotating handle for joining to connector outer perimeter, protrusion provided at one end of annular rotating handle, and retaining and guiding rib extending from outer perimeter of annular rotating handle and selectively cooperating with lower housing or disconnecting therefrom depending on rotation of annular rotating handle. Means for preventing retaining unit from disconnection is located between connector and retaining unit. According to one of versions, brush unit is additionally equipped with turbine unit positioned for rotation between upper and lower housings, and rotating brush for removal of dust from surface to be cleaned, said brush rotating upon rotation of turbine.
EFFECT: simplified and reliable connection and disconnection of upper and lower housings of brush unit and effective removal of dust from surface to be cleaned.
