FIELD: mechanical engineering; driving belts and the methods of their manufacture.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the driving belts and the method of their manufacture. The driving belt 100 contains: the first elastomeric layer 10; the precluding shift of the cords layer 11 bound with the first elastomeric layer 10; the strength members 13 spread along the longitudinal axis of the driving belt 100; the second elastomeric layer 12 bound with the precluding shift of the cords layer 11 and covering the strength members 13 arranged between the strength members 13 with formation of the prominences arranged between the strength members 13 and the peak of the rib 16, at that the prominences essentially are in parallel to the strength members; the third elastomeric layer 14 bound to the second elastomeric layer 12, having a profile. The technical result of the invention is the creation of the construction, which allows to diminish the spacing interval from the axial line of the strength cord up to the peak of the rib and till the boundary the rib-pulley in the multiribbed belt, that allows to enlarge the belt service life.
EFFECT: the invention ensures an increased belt service life.
