FIELD: producing belts or bents from plastics.

SUBSTANCE: method comprises producing belt assembly by applying the first elastomeric layer on the assembling mandrel that has diverging outer surface, applying nonporous layer on the first elastomeric layer to prevent shifting of the cords, applying the second elastomeric layer on this layer, laying the strengthening member on the second elastomeric layer, applying the third elastomeric layer on the strengthening cord, pressing the diverging outer surface thus pressing the belt assembly in the belt-shaped mould, and heating, vulcanizing, and removing the belt assembly from the mould.

EFFECT: prolonged service life of belt.
