FIELD: coal industry, particularly mechanized supports to excavate coal from thick coal beds.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises flexible barrier connected to support section top and pressure hydraulic jack secured to support section barrier. The hydraulic jack is installed so that the hydraulic jack may cooperate with flexible barrier. The flexible barrier is secured to support section top by rotary carrier means arranged in face zone under support section top. The carrier means is made as drum or roller provided with tightening means for flexible barrier tightening. Tightening means may be bent in all directions and accumulated on rotary carrier means. Pressure hydraulic jack is connected with transversal spiked beam by rod end. The transversal spiked beam is connected to lower base of flexible barrier by the first end and with frame support by the second end. Frame support is secured to barrier or to support section span. Hydraulic jack is provided with control hydraulic jack hinged to the frame support.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of coal and roof rock fall prevention in face zone.
