SUBSTANCE: method involves arranging identification wireless set adapted to be uniquely identified on casing pipe collar at certain depth; conveying wireless set detection device through well along with processing device; transmitting reply signals by wireless set to identify the set and operating the processing device in response to wireless set detection. The identification information generated by wireless set concerns casing pipe collar marking and depth. Operation may include process selected from orifice punching proves, packer installation process, bridge plug installation process; well logging process, inspection process, chemical treatment processes, casing pipe patching process, jet cutting processes and cleaning processes. System to perform processing operations in well includes a number of identification tools spaced inside the well and arranged at certain depths, wherein each depth may be uniquely identified, and corresponding reader. Reader may be connected to processing device. System may also have conveying mechanism to move reader and processing device through well. Reader may comprise receiver for reply signal receiving and transmitter to transmit signals to identification wireless sets. Processing devices are perforation tool or packer installation tool. Reader may be linked with computer having monitor to display signals from reader.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of processing device installation in well.
