FIELD: engine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: fuel supply system comprises distributing high-pressure plunger fuel pump kinematically connected and synchronized with the crankshaft of the engine and hydraulically controlled nozzles the number of which is equal to the number of cylinders. The system also has electronic unit, e.g. based on the microprocessor, that controls the electromagnetic drain valve. The electromagnetic drain valve is mounted in the pressure space of the high-pressure fuel pump and controls the process of cutting off the fuel supply, moment of opening, and duration of operation. The outputs of the pickup of the plunger position, accelerator pedal, and speed of rotation of the crankshaft are connected with the inputs of the electronic unit whose output is connected with the electromagnetic drain valve.
