SUBSTANCE: proposed vidicon target that incorporates provision for reducing number of white point defects or their complete elimination has substrate mounting successively disposed transparent conducting layer, cadmium selenide based photosensitive layer, and resistive layer; additional interlayer based on n+ cadmium selenide, 0.1 - 0.2 μm thick, is introduced between conducting layer and cadmium selenide based photosensitive layer.
EFFECT: improved quality of image background.
