FIELD: radio communications engineering, in particular, methods and device for providing protected transmissions in radio communications system.
SUBSTANCE: method and device for encryption of transmission traffic at separate levels of protocol include assignment of separate transmission traffic types to separate encryption elements, to make it possible to realize different encryption levels depending on services requirements. Encryption elements utilization input signals of alternating value, named crypto-synchronizations, together with semi-variable encryption keys for protection from protection bypassing attempts by means of information copying by foreign mobile stations. Also provided is method for synchronization of values of crypto-synchronization of encryption algorithm in mobile and base stations.
EFFECT: engineering of more reliable and protected encryption processes for protecting radio communication service users and service providers.
