FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, equipment used in grain combine cleaning devices.

SUBSTANCE: cleaner has sides connected with one another through front transverse bar and rear transverse plank, and lipped sieve with lip opening adjustment mechanism. Extension is disposed rearward of sieve. Rectangular aperture is provided in one of sieve shoe sides adjoining lip opening adjustment mechanism. Lower edge of rectangular aperture is positioned at the level of upper plane of sieve frame. Upper edge of rectangular aperture is arranged above the level of lip upper edges when said lips are opened to maximal extent. Rectangular aperture is closed with cover. Rectangular aperture provides simplified access for measuring of lip opening extent.

EFFECT: increased efficiency and reduced grain losses owing to precise adjustment of lip opening extent.
