FIELD: construction materials industry; production of hydrophobic construction materials.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of construction materials industry, in particular, to production of hydrophobic construction materials intended for protection against humidification of the surface layer of the articles made out of the silicate construction materials - concrete, bricks, various facing plasters. The composition used for hydrophobization of the construction materials contains (in mass %): sodium methylsiliconate - 10-15, hexafluorosilicate - 0.8-1.2, orthophosphoric acid - 0.2-0.25, Talcum - 0.15-0.25, aluminum oxide - 0.25-0.5, water - the rest. The technical result of the invention is an increased moisture-proof properties and durability of the construction materials. The capillary suction of water after hydrophobization of the articles makes 0.05-0.41 kg/m2, the depth of penetration - 3.5-4.0 mm.
EFFECT: the invention ensures the increased moisture-proof properties and durability of the construction materials.
