FIELD: powder metallurgy; materials for application of protective and anti-friction coats by flame spraying for restoration of worn units and parts.
SUBSTANCE: powder material contains cast iron powder alloyed by nickel, copper or chromium for reduction of porosity of coat and friction coefficient; it additionally contains babbitt powder at the following ratio of ingredients in mechanical mixture, mass-%: babbitt, 10-30; the remainder being cast iron.
EFFECT: reduction of coat porosity and friction coefficient; increased service live of article.
