FIELD: rock-cutting tools with hard-alloy cutting structure having shank and working head.
SUBSTANCE: cutting tool comprises body and hard-alloy teeth secured in body orifices by fixers. The teeth have shanks and working heads. Each fixer is formed as one or several rods installed to cooperate with shank base. Side surface of each tooth shank has longitudinal channels for rods receiving. The rods have cross-sectional dimensions exceeding that of the channels. In accordance with the second embodiment each fixer is formed as several rods having ends connected one to another by ring from the first rod sides. The ring rests upon transition zone defined between shank ledges.
EFFECT: increased sinking rate and drilling speed along with reduced drilling operation costs due to decreased cutting tool production cost.
