FIELD: mining industry, particularly for rock massif stress determination.

SUBSTANCE: method involves performing acoustic well logging through casing pipe and determining side rock pressure transmitted to casing pipe through cement environment by longitudinal and transversal wave rate ratio in salt occurrence interval; determining value of side rock pressure to be transmitted to pipe wall as difference between the first and each next measurement operations, wherein the first measurement operation is carried out within 1.5 days after well cementing and the next measuring operations are performed in 5-7 days and 2.5 months. Presence of plastic salt deformation interval beyond casing pipe is determined from value and intensity of side rock pressure reduction.

EFFECT: increased reliability of rock stress determination, possibility to determine plastic salt deformation intervals inside wells and prevention of casing pipe deformation.
