FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to injection system of multicylinder internal combustion engine. Invention makes it possible to improve injection system with supply of each cylinder form its fuel injection pump so as to provide possibility of control under current conditions as quantity of injected fuel and beginning of injection and also injection pressure, characteristic of injection, preliminary injection, after-injection and multiple injection. Fuel injection system for internal combustion engine with several cylinders to which fuel is fed is provided with electronic control unit and with the following components, one per each cylinder: fuel injection pump, nozzle with needle and electronically controlled valve to control opening of needle, and connecting pipeline connecting fuel injection pump and nozzle. Operating members of fuel injection pumps and nozzle valves are connected with electronic control unit. Each nozzle has space for accumulating fluid medium in which said medium can accumulate by means of electronic control valve. Pressure of said fluid medium holds nozzle needle in closed position.
EFFECT: improved injection system of multicylinder internal combustion engine.
