FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: fuel dosing device at the point before an oxidation catalyst in outlet path (36) of an internal combustion engine. In the flow direction after fuel feed device (72) located is shutoff valve (54) and/or injector (40), which are integrated into dosing unit (48) fuel pipeline. From that fuel pipeline at the point before dosing unit (48) there branched is drain fuel pipeline (82) with the first bypass valve (80) located in it. At the point between shutoff valve (54) and dosing valve (56) there branched is one more drain fuel pipeline (88) with valve (80) located in it, which influences middle pressure level in dosing unit (48).
EFFECT: minimisation of pressure surges, minimisation of occurrence of signals proportional to peak pressure values in a dosing device, and in an exhaust gas outlet system respectively, due to which damage to individual units is excluded.
