FIELD: wind-power engineering; application in regions at low wind velocity.
SUBSTANCE: proposed wind motor includes frame mounted in fixed housing and used for installation of shafts with rigidly secured blades and turnable shaft; turnable shaft and blade shafts are provided with sprockets and hubs connected by chain transmissions at constant ratio of angular velocities of 2:1. Vane is rigidly secured on turnable shaft; half of sprockets of turnable shaft are mounted for turn through 180°; hub is provided with longitudinal slot; turnable shaft is hollow and is provided with profiled slot and splines in lower part; mounted inside this shaft is rod with pin received by profiled slot and slot for sprocket hub; mounted turnably on opposite end of rod is splined bush with stop; bush is received by splines of turnable shaft; translational motion drive with movable actuating member is mounted inside fixed housing; end of rod is connected with actuating member for relative turn.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability due to automatic orientation of blades relative to wind flow and protection of wind motor against overloading in case of gale.
