FIELD: wind power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in developing new types of stationary and movable power-generating wind-driven plants. Proposed windmill has rotor with horizontal central shaft on which gears of chain drive are installed coaxially and secured rigidly. Each gear is in meshing with planet pinion members by independent chain drive, planet pinion members being arranged radially around central shaft and uniformly spaced. Each member has vane reduction gear consisting of chain drive gear and large and small spur gears. Small spur gear is coaxial and is rigidly coupled with chain drive gear of vane reduction gear, and large spur gear is rigidly secured on axle of vane installed horizontally. Each vane rests through ends of axles against brackets for rotation. Brackets are secured by bases on hubs installed on both ends of shaft for rotation. Tops of brackets are connected at both ends of central shaft by ring hoops being drive wheels connected by flexible drive with windmill energy converters. Central shaft rests by both ends on frames secured on platform resting on trucks installed on round way whose center coincides with center of rotation of platform axle.
EFFECT: improved reliability and efficiency of utilization of wind flow energy, simplified design and improved manufacturability.
