SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compositions comprising active components of one or some types of Basidiomycotina belonging to tubular Basidiomycotina, and active components from plant roots belonging to family Araliaceae. Such compositions possess hypoglycemic and anti-tumor activity. Preferably, Basidiomycotina can represent Ganoderma lucidum and/or Coriolus versicolor, and a plant belonging to family Araliaceae can represent ginseng officinal, for example, common ginseng and/or Japanese ginseng. Preferably, the composition aqueous solution shows oxidative-reductive potential value less about 1230 mV, more preferable - less about 900 mV, and the most preferable - less about 330 mV. Also, invention describes methods for preparing such compositions that can comprise extraction of abovementioned components with hot water.

EFFECT: invention provides preparing active extracts producing anti-tumor and hypoglycemic effect.
