FIELD: oil producing and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydraulic grips used for turning filed pipelines. Proposed hydraulic grip has housing with hydraulic cylinder and guide rod connected with gripping member which, in its turn, is rigidly coupled with housing and furnished with gripping part in form of closing member. Device is furnished also with upper and lower detachable friction cover plates, inner radius of curvature of said plates being equal to outer diameter of pipe.
EFFECT: increased service line, improved reliability and capacity of field pipelines subjected to slot wear.
