FIELD: chemical industry; food processing industry; methods of chemical-thermal-treatment of articles made out of steel.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of chemical-thermal-treatment and may be used in the food-processing industry at hardening of the working components of the food-processing machines and apparatuses of confectionery production. The technical result of the invention is the increased hardness of the articles made out of steel at improved wear resisting property, preservation of the high viscosity of their core. The method is realized as follows: the components are subjected to carburization and conduct the thermal treatment of their surface by the heating by the laser pulses at the power density of radiation of 2.4-2/6 kW/mm2, scan rates of 1.75-2.25 mm/s at reaching the factor of the overlapping equal to 0.3-0.7. Then the components are cooled the liquid nitrogen during 5-10s to the temperature of -196°C.
EFFECT: the invention ensures the increased hardness of the articles made out of steel at improved wear resisting property, preservation of the high viscosity of their core.
