FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves taking 24 h long electrocardiogram data before giving drugs. Cardiac rhythm variability is analyzed in time from the 24 h long electrocardiogram supervision data. An antihypertension preparation is prescribed at mean therapeutic dose. Electrocardiogram is recorded during 24 hours and arterial blood pressure is concurrently measured every 6 h. The received data are processed. The results are estimated with recommendations being given concerning given preparation usage expediency for treating given patient and variability indices like SDNN,rMSSD, SDANN(i) comparison results before and after antihypertension preparation consumption being taken into consideration.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in advising objective selection criteria.
