FIELD: railway transport; permanent way.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to screening of hard materials, particularly, to design members of screens used in screening railway track ballast of higher wetness and contamination. Proposed screen for track ballast has box installed on elastic shock absorbers, vibrodrive, upper metal sieve, lower sieve in form of separate fragments with made-up elastic tapes-strings installed for vibration with amplitude 1.5-2 times greater than vibration amplitude of upper sieve and arranged in cascade with angle of tilting to horizon 4-10° less than angle of tilting of upper metal sieve.

EFFECT: improved efficiency of screening of wet and contaminated ballast crushed stone.
