BALLAST CLEANER SCREEN Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: railway transport. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processes of ballast cleaning and devices for repair and reconstruction of tracks. Proposed ballast cleaner screen contains inclined duct and with sides and screen, supports in form of shock absorbers, and vibration exciter including at least to vibrators spaced over width of duct. Vibration exciter is furnished with drive placed within the limits of duct and including at least one motor with speed meter, propeller shaft, differential and two axle-shafts with clutch members. Each vibrator is provided vibratory shaft with mating clutch member, housing and unbalance regulator. Housings of vibrators are coupled with duct through cross beam in contact with sides of duct for displacement and fixing along longitudinal axis. At least one additional screen is installed on duct under main screen. Size of screen meshes of each additional screen are made to pass clean crushed stone. At least one of screens is made arch-shaped. Invention provides possibility of maximum use of overall width of ballast cleaner. EFFECT: increased capacity of cleaner screen and improved quality of ballast cleaning from litter. 2 cl, 2 dwg
