FIELD: electric arc welding, namely electric arc welding apparatus and system, method and apparatus for electric arc welding by short circuiting, possibly in machine engineering for making welded structures.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes first power source with first input for supplying first AC between electrode and welded part; second power source with second input for supplying second AC between electrode and part. Electric arc welding system includes two power sources for generating oscillations across gap between electrode and welded part due to several electric current pulses having frequency at least 18 kHz. Amplitude of each pulse is controlled by means of oscillation exciter and by means of circuit for timing first and second oscillations. Apparatus for electric arc welding by short circuiting includes main unit for electric arc welding at least with one power source for supplying electric current to electrode wire; said unit include pulse duration modulator for controlling welding current and oscillation exciter for controlling said modulator. Electric power source generates series of pulse forming welding cycle. Each pulse has predetermined electric polarity relative to welded part. Two ends of welded part arranged with gap is realized by means of electric arc welding with short circuiting provided by means of said apparatus for electric arc welding. According to invention less power sources of each system are connected in parallel for supplying current to one electrode. Due to coordination of switching points of each of power sources connected in parallel with high-accuracy interface, output alternating electric current is equal to sum of currents of parallel power sources without connecting them together before switching polarity.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of welding system.
