FIELD: polymer materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention, in particular, relates to employment of polyisocyanate compositions as binders for such materials as oriented wood chipboards as well as to binding lignocellulose material. Composition of invention contains polyisocyanate prepolymer, which product obtained by reaction of (i) polyisocyanate containing mixture of diphenylmethanediisocyanate isomers and at least one polyether polyol with (ii) polymerized alkylene units including at least 15% ethylene oxide units, said polyether polyol being prepared using water and low-molecular polyols as initiators. Binding of lignocellulose material comprises following stages: bringing lignocellulose material into contact with polyisocyanate composition; applying mold grease based on wax or metal-containing soap onto surface of lignocellulose composite; and creating conditions for binding of indicated material. Thus fabricated boards possess density at a level of 650 kg/m3 and internal binding strength (V20-IB) at a level of 673 kPa.
