FIELD: engineering of methods and devices for inputting information, possible use for inputting information by controlling cursor, shown on display of electronic device.
SUBSTANCE: device has, positioned in body: manipulator, manipulator indicator, containing at least two tension resistors, positioned in resiliently deformed element, while manipulator is made in form of rod, one end of which is held on resiliently deformed element of indicator, and tension resistors are positioned so, that their symmetry axes are inclined relatively to radial direction, routed from rod holding point, to center of tension resistor on angle of tangential inclination. For moving cursor, force is applied to manipulator in direction of desired movement, and for rotation - torque is applied, while speed of cursor rotation is measured by changing value of torque, applied to manipulator.
EFFECT: higher comfort of cursor control, simplification and miniaturization of input device.
