SUBSTANCE: proposed rotary plug connector which is most useful where appliance is to be moved from one position to other has fixed socket and rotary plug that can be mechanically held in desired position within socket relative to appliance to transfer electrical energy to the latter. Socket has bow-shaped jacks with common center of curvature to receive plug pins. Socket also has first mechanical-junction structural member disposed in curvature center of jacks; plug has second mechanical-junction structural member permitting its rotation about mentioned center of curvature.
EFFECT: ability of positioning connector plug relative to any position of appliance changed by user.
