FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: system is disclosed for selective control of electric sockets with application of power profile detection. Multiple electric sockets, every of which comprises seat (124) of power supply, providing for reception of plug (102), identification (116) of socket and switch, which, when in the first position, there is no energy available in power supply socket, and when switch is in the second position, energy is available in power supply seat. Controller (222) is in electronic communication with multiple electric sockets. Controller comprises processor and memory in electronic communication with processor. Controller also comprises profiles (1020) and operates to receive data from electric socket out of multiple electric sockets. Device or class of device is identified on the basis of received data. Capacity profile is identified on the basis of received data. Action is made on the basis of capacity profile.
EFFECT: improved quality of power control.
