FIELD: electromechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed linear motor that can be used for driving submersible and transfer pumps, compressors, for moving cargoes, doors, catches, and the like has its inductor made in the form of a number of circular cores spaced through certain distance apart, each core being provided with two pole shoes and annular coils of phase winding in-between. Cylindrical armature provided with annular pole shoes is installed inside or outside of inductor for slip displacement. Motor magnetic-circuit cores can be made of solid magnetically soft material or of specifically shaped thin-sheet steel lamination. As an alternative, motor can be made with circular permanent magnets on armature. Linear-motor tractive force is produced upon connection of winding phase leads to electronic switch operating in response to instructions arriving from armature position sensor.
EFFECT: facilitated manufacture of motor stator, reduced size, enhanced efficiency.
