FIELD: production of single-place device serving as plank bed in car.

SUBSTANCE: general-purpose plank bed with single-place surface for lying, said surface serving as bed surface, has foldable material and foldable frame comprising two cross-pieces, each being detachably positioned within receiving device on longitudinal edges of said surface, and two spacers detachably connected with cross-pieces. Plank bed is adapted for use within and outside car, in particular, military automobile. Plank bed has suspension device. Plank bed is adapted for placing within car in various mounting states and positions, for example, it is suspended in spread position for lying within interior of car at place provided for such a purpose by means of suspension device, or plank bed is fastened with its web for lying formed as lashing or baggage net in the interior of car, or it forms with its web surface for lying packet wound around cross-pieces and spacers attached thereto, said packet being fixed in the interior of car. Plank bed is readily placed in car. Apart from serving as sleeping bed, it may be used for other purposes.
