FIELD: industrial hygiene.
SUBSTANCE: for increasing the safety of an actual performer and people being in dangerous area while performing mechanized work one should provide the lines of Landolt's table moving at preset velocity to determine neutralized time of reaction by the following formula: tr=N2+Vmv·Tn/(NVmv(N-n)), where N - total number of calculated Landolt's rings; Vmv - preset velocity of movement, Tn - time for carrying out a trial, n - the number of passed through Landolt's rings and establish a throughput capacity of visual analyzer by the following formula: S= Vmv·0.5436-2.807n/T, where 0.5436 - information of every Landolt's ring, 2.807 - information being lost at passing one ring through and at obtaining the value of tr≤0.5 sec and S≥1.1 one should sate upon operator's professional usefulness. The innovation enables to simplify the detection of operator's psychophysiological abilities.
EFFECT: higher efficiency and accuracy of detection.
