METHOD FOR ASSESSING MOBILITY OF NERVE PROCESSES Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC A61B5/16

Abstract RU 2686247 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, physiology. It is used for assessing the functional state of the nervous system in case of mass screenings during occupational testing and performance monitoring. Landolt samples are taken for 600 s, then repeated, reducing time of sample performance to 300 s. Noise interference and emotional stress are generated during repeated execution. Calculating the information processing rate during the first and second execution using the formula S = (0.5436 xQt-2.807 xNt)/t, where S is the information processing rate indicator, Qt is the total number of viewed rings per the corresponding t; Nt is number of missed and incorrectly crossed out rings for corresponding t; 0.5436 is average information value of each ring; 2.807 is information loss value per one ring; t is sample time in seconds - for the first sample - 600 s, for repeated sample - 300 s. Information processing speed is compared at the first and second sample performance. If the processing speed of the information at the second performance is higher than at the first or lower by no more than 15 %, a high level of mobility of the nervous system and resistance to stress is stated. If the rate of processing information at repeated execution is lower than in the first, by value from 15 % to 40 %, moderately reduced mobility of the nervous system is stated. If the rate of processing information during repeated execution is lower than that of the first one by 40 % and more, a marked decrease in the mobility of the nervous system is noted.

EFFECT: method enables assessing the level of mobility of nervous processes in a short period of time.
