FIELD: transport engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in trucks, tractors, self-propelled vehicles, half-track tractors and carriers. Proposed power transmission of vehicle contains drive of additional driving axle which consists of sliding member in form of differential one link of which is connected with main shaft of gearbox, and second link, through drive with constant gear ratio (propeller shaft and final drive) with center differential of additional driving axle. Wheel rotation speed sensors are installed on driving shafts of wheeled-crawler propulsion unit which send signals to regulating device to control blades of turbine wheel of torque converter and, in case of slipping of driving wheels, sharply increases torque of crawler propulsion unit.
EFFECT: increased traction and speed characteristics of vehicle, service life of crawler propulsion unit, efficiency of drive and simplified design of drive.
