FIELD: transport engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in tractors, self-propelled vehicles, automobiles, half-track tractors and transporters. Proposed power transmission contains engine 1, gearbox 2, transfer case 3 with symmetrical differential 4 distributing torque between driving axles 5 and 6 of wheeled propeller. Torque is transmitted to crawler propeller 7 (track assembly) by means of hydrostatic transmission consisting of hydraulic motor 8 to which delivery and outlet main lines from pump 9 are connected. Pump is set into rotation by main shaft of gearbox 2. To control hydraulic motor 8, use is made of device consisting of torque pickups 10, 11 and 12 measuring torque on output shafts 13, 14 and 15 of wheeled and crawler propellers and electronic matching device 16.
EFFECT: increased traction and speed properties of vehicle, improved steerability and increased efficiency of drive.
