FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: proposed monorail transport system contains power drive, vehicle in form of body with side and end face walls, roof, bottom and carrying part placed on transport beam on support and guide wheelsets with axles of rotation. Support and guide wheelsets engage with like surfaces of transport beam installed and secured on supports. Wheelsets are arranged beyond the limits of body. Monorail transport system has also drive rigidly secured on carrying part and setting vehicle into motion to which torque from power drive is transmitted. Vehicle is made for shifting body in plane square to direction of motion, is equipped with parking brakes located between carrying part of vehicle and transport beam, disk brakes located on axles of support wheels and connected to hydraulic pump coupled with power drive and drive of locks of body relative to carrying part and secured on body end faces.

EFFECT: enlarged sphere of application owing to dispensing with building of stationary station for boarding and getting off of passengers.
