FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive industry. Body of overground monorail transport system car represents a spatially developed carcass including bottom platform (1) with floor (2), roofing platform (3) connected with bottom platform by stands, two adjacent ones of which on the side of end walls of frame are formed door openings. In the zone of the roof platform all posts are connected by longitudinally located power elements (10). Width of bottom platform is less than width of roof platform for formation in carcass of trapezoidal shape of cross section with location of smaller base on bottom platform. Bottom platform is made single-level and consists of bearing base in the form of row of longitudinally arranged beams interconnected by cross beams, and fixed on floor crossbars. Roof platform includes two spars arranged along carcass, which in each zone of carcass end walls are interconnected by two crossbars for formation of power elements for connection of suspension bogies suspension systems. Each side member is made in form of a hollow beam of triangular cross-section with stiffness ribs.
EFFECT: higher strength characteristics of body.
