SUBSTANCE: method and device can be used for building principally new small-sized surface mounting automatons. Articles of line sequences are disposed in area of reception for subsequent transportation of the articles to common carrier by surface damped with liquid, for example with water, of transfer element sequent set which is made for rotation about common axis of rotation. Any transfer element is made for reciprocal movement to receive articles and to mount or to fix them in corresponding positions at common carrier. Magnet either with permanent or with variable magnetic filed is disposed under carrier in interval of shift of line sequence articles receiving or transporting unit. Mounting and fixation of articles on common carrier by transfer elements, which keep article motionless by additional magnetic field is carried out by means of reversing magnetization of article from transfer element to common carrier during moment of bringing them together.
EFFECT: improved reliability of operation.
