FIELD: radio-electronic technologies; possible use for engineering and production of principally new small-dimensions automatons for performing surface mounting operations.
SUBSTANCE: method for directing products of different shapes during their transportation includes positioning in receipt zone products of row-like series for following receipt and transfer onto common carrying device by watered surface of serial set of transferring elements, which is made with possible rotation, while each transferring element is made with possible reciprocal movement for receiving products and for mounting or holding products in appropriate positions on common carrier, while discontinuous rotation of a set of transferring elements is performed by electromagnetic step drive, executive element of which is positioned with possible combined reciprocal movement with series of transferring elements within linear interval.
EFFECT: increased operating reliability of small automatons for surface mounting operations with simultaneous increase of speed-related parameters.
