SUBSTANCE: method and device can be used for building completely new small-sized surface mounting automatic machines. Articles form line sequences are placed inside receiving area for transporting them onto common carrier by surface damped with liquid, water for example, of transfer element sequent combination, which is made for rotation about common axis. Any transfer element is made for reciprocal motion for receiving articles and mounting or fixing them in corresponding positions onto common carrier. Vertical reciprocal shift of the whole combination of transfer elements is carried out by means of guides accompanied with simultaneous correction of angle of turn of transfer element combination after its any discrete shift.
