FIELD: mining, particularly underground mineral mining.
SUBSTANCE: method involves delineating extraction pillar with haulage roadway and ventilation drift; drilling-out coal from haulage roadway to ventilation drift with paired wells with the use of auger rig; introducing two rows of flexible elongated shells by augers performing reverse movement; supplying compressed air in the shells; repeating above operations along with leaving coal pillar (odd-numbered pillar); discharging the second row of elongated shells arranged from excavated space side and supplying compressed air in flexible elongated shells arranged from coal massif side; pressing-out odd-numbered coal pillar to the second row of flexible elongated shells arranged from excavated space side; moving cut coal along with flexible elongated shells to haulage roadway; unloading remainder three rows of flexible elongated shells and moving thereof to haulage roadway; repeating paired well drilling, flexible elongated shell insertion, shell loading operations and leaving even-numbered pillar; repeating paired well drilling, flexible elongated shell installation, loading, unloading operations, as well as odd-numbered pillar pressing-out and moving coal and elongated shells in haulage roadway. Distance between even-numbered pillars is equal to five coal bed thicknesses.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of coal excavation and rock pressure control.
