FIELD: mining industry, particularly mining of flat-laying and inclined seams having low and medium thickness and including rock layers.

SUBSTANCE: method involves driving panel or horizon working system; forming air and haulage roadways for the full mining field length; forming holing chute and installing face equipment in the holing chute; performing rock layer cutting from air and haulage roadways in advance with the use of auger machines arranged in air and haulage roadways; stacking rock in air roadway during air roadway gobbing and laying pack in haulage roadway.

EFFECT: increased second working intensity; decreased impoverishment of coal produced of rock layers; decreased costs of mineral transportation in mine and lifting from mine.
